Route 7 - Coatbridge, Bellshill & Hamilton areas
Coatbridge - West of Scotland HH
From Edinburgh follow M8/A8 for Glasgow. Shortly after passing Eurocentral follow second A725 exit to Coatbridge then A89 to town centre. At roundabout just before huge railway bridge turn right into Sunnyside Road to 'Park & Ride'. Then turn right, this is still Sunnyside Road, to roundabout. Turn left then immediately right into Burnbank Street. Take third entrance on right (a lane) and depot on right.
Bellshill - D. Steven
Return to A725 and follow Bellshill, then Bellshill North IE. At top of slip road turn left and follow road round to Maxi Haulage on left. Depot in Maxi Haulage yard.
Bellshill - Haig/Pollock (Scotrans)/Castle Cement
From Maxi Haulage turn left and at T-junction turn left again. Go throught first roundabout and follow Holytown. At next roundabout turn left into Reema IE. At first roundabout either go straight over and Haig/Pollock are located on right, or turn right and follow to end of road for Castle Cement. Viewing strictly only from car park.
N.B. - both Bellshill North and Righead IE can reveal a wealth of spots in all the nooks and crannies and also in the MAN/Renault/Scania/Volvo dealers.Bellshill - G&S International
Return to Bellshill North IE from Reema IE. From Bellshill North IE cross back over A725 into Righead IE and take first right past Scania and Mercedes dealers and take first right into Sholto Crescent. Depot on left.
Hamilton - Yuill & Dodds/Macaskill Haulage
Follow A725 East Kilbride and pass under M74. Follow East Kilbride for about half a mile then bear left onto A724 Blantyre. Turn left into Whistleberry IE. Yuill & Dodds located both sides of road with Macaskill next yard up on left. Volvo dealer also useful.
Blantyre - Cadzow HH
Return to A724, turn left and continue over bridge on A724 to roundabout. Take third exit under A725 (keep in left lane) and at next roundabout take third exit into Forrest Street. Depot at bottom on left.
Bothwell/Uddingston - Wm. Armstrong/A.J. Anderson/SNT
From Cadzow return A725 toward M74 and at roundabout turn left and follow Bothwell. At far end of village turn right into Bothwell Business Park. A.J. Anderson on left in Fincairn Yard. Wm. Armstrong located a hundred yards further up on right. For SNT continue on past Armstrong to end of road and turn right. Based in DFDS yard.
Cambuslang - Stan Robinson
From Armstrong return through Bothwell to M74 Glasgow and follow to its end at Jct 2 (there is no Jct 1) and turn left. At roundabout turn right into Drumhead Road and then right into Drumhead Lane. Depot on left.
