A9 - Perth to Inverness

This route guide takes you north along the A9 from Perth to Inverness. This is a rather barren route, lorryspotting-wise, and most sightings will be gained while actually travelling.
From Perth take the A9 north for Inverness.
Ballinluig - Ballinluig Services
These services are located approximately 20 miles north of Perth, in the village of Ballinluig. There is a restaurant (the 'Motorgrill') alongside a filling station and HGV parking area. Well worth looking to see if anything is present.
From the A9, turn left up sliproad for Ballinluig/A827. At roundabout turn right, go over A9 and follow round. Services located along on right. Return to A9.
Newtonmore - Newtonmore Grill & Truckstop
Follow the A9 north for approximately 44 miles. Turn left onto B9150 at junction just after Ralia. Follow road for Newtonmore and truckstop is located on left after about a mile, just before entering village. Return to A9.
Carrbridge - Highland Transport
Continue north along A9 for approximately 24 miles. Then take right junction onto A938 and follow for two miles to Carrbridge. Turn right onto B9153 then right into Station Road immediately after crossing river. Follow road for about 0.8 miles, passing under A9, and yard is located on right, opposite sawmill.
Return to A9 and continue north to Inverness.
