Smart Merc for Oban Express

06 Apr 2009

A fleet that Truckscene Scotland has unfortunately not seen many of is Oban Express. The company, which has depots in Oban and Glasgow, specialise in express parcel deliveries and operate throughout Scotland.

They run a large fleet of vans and about 17 trucks ranging from 7.5 tonners through to full weight 44-tonne artics. Most of the fleet carry the three-pointed star of Mercedes Benz. One of the latest to join the company is SG09 BZN, an Actros 1841 tractor unit.

It was photographed in Callander on 20/03/09, looking smart in it's light blue livery.
